Kim Kardashian Wedding Dresses

Kim Kardashian has said 'I do' to her basketballer fiancé Kris Humphries in a beautiful sunset ceremony attended by her A-list friends.

The couple tied the knot at 6.30pm in a 30-minute service watched by their families, and celebrity guests including Ryan Seacrest, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, Mel B, Venus and Serena Williams, Avril Lavigne and Demi Lovato.

Kim's spokesperson revealed the bride wore an ivory custom-designed strapless Vera Wang gown with full tulle skirt, basque waist and hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué on the bodice and 'epic' train.

E! - the network behind the Kardashians' reality shows - reported that the bride wore her hair up and off her face.

Her veil remained off her face for the walk down the aisle with step father Bruce Jenner, and included a jewelled headpiece with diamonds that 'dripped on to Kim's forehead,' according E! Online.

She wore Guiseppe Zanotti shoes, and exchanged weddings rings with Kris designed by her good friend Lorraine Schwartz, who also designed her stunning engagement ring.

Following the ceremony, the action moved to a separate tent with the bride changing into a second Vera Wang mermaid gown with more Chantilly lace on the bodice and hand-cut organza petals on the skirt, with the reality star expected to change into a third creation.

Soul singer Robin Thicke introduced 'Mr and Mrs Humphries' and sang his song Angels for the couple's first dance as husband and wife, then Let's Stay Together.

And it looks as though her mother Kris Jenner, 55, may have made an effort to upstage the bride in her own Vera Wang-designed dress.
Kris was spotted talking to staff on the grounds before the wedding wearing a strapless white gown with an over-the-top bow across the bodice.

Following the ceremony, bridal designer Vera Wang Tweeted: 'Wow! @KimKardashian What a joyous, beautiful, magical night! Wishing you and Kris all the blessings in the world xx Vera.'

And it appears that Kardashian looked to the biggest wedding of the year - William and Kate's - for inspiration for her bridal party.

Kim's co-maids of honour Kourtney, 32, and Khloe, 27, and bridesmaids Kendall, 15, and Kylie Jenner, 14, and Kris' sister Kaela wore ivory gowns described by E! as 'very Pippa (Middleton)'.

Kris, 26, wore a  white peak lapel tuxedo jacket, black tuxedo pants with white shirt and white bow tie by Ermenegildo Zegna.

According to wedding guests, Kris whispered to his groomsmen, included his new brothers-in-law Rob Kardashian and Lamar Odom, 'I'm nervous' as he arrived at the alter, E! reports.

The order of service included an emotional tribute to Kris Humphries' late grandparents and Kim's late father Robert Kardashian.

Kim wrote: 'I so wish my dad could be here today to walk me down the aisle. But I know in a way he is here, and I feel his loving presence all around me. I love and miss you, dad.'

Celebrity guests expected today include Eva Longoria, Demi Lovato, Serena Williams, Kelly Osbourne and Ryan Seacrest at the lavish affair.

Lindsay Lohan arrived in Santa Barbara last night ahead of the wedding, while Longoria tweeted her excitement, writing: 'So excited for @kimkardashian wedding tomorrow!'

Other rumoured but less likely attendees include Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum and Kanye West.

It emerged yesterday that Kim was forced to cut 50 people from her overflowing list, according to Life & Style magazine.

Some of the cut guests included family members of step-father Bruce Jenner.

The magazine claims that after learning of all the filming equipment that will be inside the venue to shoot the party for Kim's E! wedding special, the fire marshal warned Kardashian to cut down the list.

Kim urged her fans to leave messages on her virtual wedding guestbook, adding: 'Even though you can’t all be there to help me celebrate today, it would mean so much to me if you would sign my ‘Virtual Wedding Guestbook‘ by leaving a comment below!'

Her mother and manager, Kris Jenner, is also very excited and barely got a wink of sleep last night.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote: 'Morning dolls!! Wow @kimkardashian wedding day is finally here! I wanted to sleep in but too excited.'

Kim and Kris have confirmed they will not be honeymooning until next year. Kim was already scheduled to begin filming the second series of Kourtney & Kim Take New York in Manhattan before Kris' surprise proposal in May.

So the couple's first home will be the penthouse suite at the Gansevoort Park Avenue, the NY Post reports.
